built entirely from locally produced bricks, the chapel and its up-scaled parvis serve as a market and trading place for the people of rukomo. by combining the geometry of the building with wind turbines (chimney effect), the chapel becomes a hub for energy independence and sustainability — and gives the area a connection to the world wide web.
