a competition entry for the waidhofen care and support centre (pbz) — an independent building block of the town's health quarter. a richly articulated plinth holds all public functions and anchors the house on friedhofstraße; a forecourt and a day-centre garden link the public realm with the green band along the ybbs.

the bar above follows the alignment of the regional hospital and, through its rotation, forms a generous, sheltered roof garden. this becomes the shared therapeutic outdoor space for all wards — with wide views and an integrated dementia loop — and is the identity-giving heart of the project.
